I think that Slade/Deathstroke from Teen Titans is Robin’s father ON THE SHOW, NOT IN THE COMICS/IN THE STORYLINE. I believe that IT IS TO BE INFERRED, based upon:
They both are in peak human physical condition, super strong, fast, agile, and overall athletic, Robin is even shown to grow up to a size like Slade’s in the episode where Starfire goes twenty years in the future, Robin is about Slade’s size when he is Nightwing.
They both are geniuses with exceptional determination and bad tempers.
In the episode Apprentince Part 2, when the Titans save Robin from Slade’s control they brake half of Slade’s mask, he is seen to have the same kind of hair as Robin, wild, spikey, black hair.
They both seem to enjoy leading and having controlling positions.
Neither of them can stay out of the spotlight, they love getting involved, Robin chooses to be a superhero, Slade a criminal mastermind. Slade is more enigmatic than Robin, but that seems mainly due to the nature of his crimes.
They have VERY similar personalities, this is even noticed and vocalized by members of the Titans, mainly Starfire, but also Beastboy and Cyborg.
When Robin has the dream where he catches Slade and removes the mask, the face is Robin’s, much like STAR WARS EPISODE V, when Luke enters the tree and fights a ghost-Vader, to discover behind the mask is his own face.
it doesn’t matter what you think, he’s not.
in the comic series teen titans go (based and placed in the same universe as the cartoon series) there is a flashback issue of robin with his parents.

and besides, nothing you said has ANYTHING to do with the fact that they could be related. you’re merely pointing similarities between the two characters. the same of every quality you stated can be said between batman and robin.

Interesting idea, But isn’t Robin an orphin? For a long time I thought that Slade was BatMan in desguise. since he always had a intense personal interest in Robin specifically, fighting him only made Robin stronger, He save Robins life at least once, as far as I could tell he never did permenent damage or release any kind of creature that Robin couldn’t handle. For a long time I thought Slade was Batman in desguise to help train Robin to fight someone like slade better. That’s still a possibility.

Robin’s parents were killed by "that one dude" during a sabotage (that’s how you spell it???) at a circus performance (he used to be a circus performer, being the Flying Graysons cuz his name was Dick Grayson, so therefore the Flying Graysons. He was later adopted by Batman and trained by him and became Robin, Batman’s sidekick. So Slade is NOT Robin’s dad. If anything, Slade is Jason Todd (the other Robin).
