Ok I have been searching for info on the last name Pearman and Came up with some good things but not enough. I know that My great grandfather was Wray Parks Pearman and He married 2 times. He had two Kids my father and his sister. Wray had brothers that were twins? but not sure on what happened to them or there families and that is as far I can find? Please help!
Beverly Wray Pearman was born 10/18/1886. In 1917 he lived at 3810 Hopkins in Richmond VA (the clerk who wrote this has very fanciful handwriting). He states that he was born in Charles City County, VA. He worked as a carpenter and millwright for the American Locomotive Co in Richmond. At that time he was living with his mother, wife and 3 kids. He was of medium height, medium build, red/brown hair and blue eyes.
His oldest son, Wray, married Gaynelle, daughter of Mary Shepard, when he was 21 and she was 18. They lived with her mother after their marriage. He sold magazines and she rolled tobacco in a cigar factory.
The twins names were Roland L and Dorel W. Pearman, born 4/24/1910. Roland died in Dec 1975, Dorel died in Sept 1975. Both continued living in Richmond until their deaths. To find their families, pull their obituaries.

What’s odd is that I find this family settled in Virginia VERY early…yet there are very few resources about it on the internet. Here’s what I’ve pieced together
Christopher Pearman, b. Oct 1827 VA
->m. ca. 1879 to a woman named Indianna (last name unknown) b. Sept 1846 VA
They were the parents of Gracie Pearman (July 1882), Beverly Wray Pearman (b Oct 1886). There’s also a son from a 1st marriage whose name is difficult to read on the 1880 census…looks like Partrier, but the transcriptionist put "Partric".
Gracie m. Emmet L Perkins. In 1910, Christopher appears to be deceased and Indianna is living with Gracie and Emmet. (1910 census)
It looks like Christopher’s mother’s name was Elenor and she was b. 1799-1800. (1850 census)

My guess is that you had not looked at census images for him. You won’t get far very fast without access to census. You’ll have to dig out birth & death docs to learn his parents’ correct names.
