the other day i bought a flat iron for $39 at the grocery store and it took it out on my credit card but i did returned it and its not giving me the $39 back even though i returned it. It already shows that i puchased the flat iron and that i returned it on my account but i don’t see that its available credit on my balance. My limit is $500 and i really need that $39 for other things.
Did you have other charges come thru? Perhaps the return is only pending and you will have to wait a few more days before the transactions actually posts.
If you are running your credit card that close to the limit, you should take a closer look at your spending habits. Budget yourself to what you really need and not just stuff you want. You should work on paying that credit card completely off before you start charging more stuff.

all credit transactions take 3-4 weeks to appear on your credit card. you can call and ask cap. one if they have it yet but chances are good that it has yet to be logged. meanwhile you may have a bill due with the purchase on it. if that occurs, you need to pay the bill in full or finance charges will accrue. after the card registers your credit , you can ask for a refund back or use the card and spend the 39.00 credit you have, which would be by far quicker.
