I just downloaded a movie from a torrent site (the movie is now downloaded and ready to go) and now I need someone to explain to me step by step on how to play it. The movie is already downloaded I just need someone (who knows what they are talking about) to explain to me how to play it so I can watch it. Thanks.
What type of file did you download? If it is an avi or mpeg just use VLC Media Player. If it is a bin/cue file, then you will need to download another program, like DaemonTools, to mount the file and then watch it like a DVD.

ok im going to assume you have downloaded it in avi form (Divx or xvid) you need to download a codec package which you can get from here:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/combined_community_codec_pack.htm
once you have installed this program watching a movie is as simple as double clicking it as the codec package will get windows media player whatit needs to watch the movies.
